What are VaultlyVIP's escrow fees?
For transactions above $175, the escrow fee is 1,5% per party (3% total if one party covers it all). For transactions below $175, a flat fee of $5 applies.
How can I get a lower escrow fee?
If either party has completed at least 5 transactions with VaultlyVIP — whether as a buyer or seller — you can reach out to our admin to request a reduced fee.
Can a transaction be cancelled?
Yes, but only if both parties agree to cancel. The escrow fee is still required even in the event of cancellation. Once confirmed, the funds will be returned to the buyer minus the escrow fee and network gas fee.
What is a Transaction Deadline?
The Transaction Deadline is the cutoff date for resolving a transaction in case one party goes unresponsive. If this happens, VaultlyVIP will step in and make a decision based on the available evidence and the last known stage of the transaction.
What's the timeline?
It depends entirely on the Transaction Deadline you set. You’re in control — it can be as short as a few days or as long as 6 months, depending on the nature of your deal. Once both parties confirm and the funds are secured, the transaction runs until delivery is confirmed or the deadline is reached.
What if both parties can't reach an agreement?
The Transaction Deadline only applies when one party goes silent. If both parties are still communicating but cannot agree — for example, the seller claims the item was delivered but the buyer insists they never received it — the funds will remain in escrow until both sides reach a resolution, even if the deadline has passed.
What if the item doesn't match the description?
We encourage both parties to work it out directly — whether that means a partial refund, a replacement, or another arrangement. The goal is to reach a solution that both sides are comfortable with.
